Nuova S.TE.I.M. S.r.l. (Ternana Company of Mechanical Plants) is an innovative and dynamic company working in the construction, installation and maintenance of industrial plants.
Nuova S.TE.I.M. offers a full range of services including the design of new plants and the revamping of the existing ones, the expanding of production sites and their reallocation, after sales services.

Nuova S.TE.I.M., in addition to the building and maintenance activities, also combines the production of metal containers approved for the transport of solid and liquid dangerous goods (I°, II° and III° group). These containers are able to meet the needs of several industrial sectors such as steel, chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical, textile and many others. Nuova S.TE.I.M. is a versatile company which also produces carpentry and mechanical products, equipment and skids.

Nuova S.TE.I.M.’s main goal is the satisfaction of any kind of need, from the basic to the particular one. For this reason it has widened up its activities with customized services such as designing and consultancy. On the strength of the know-how and of his forty year experience, Nuova S.TE.I.M. can offer different kind of services to the companies: designing and engineering consultancy for the improvement of the production facilities, assessment of their efficiency, machinery replacement, planning of periodical controls and of ordinary and special interventions.

In recent years Nuova S.TE.I.M. has also focused on the field of alternative energies by assembling an experimental concentrated solar plant.

Nuova S.TE.I.M. was founded in 1972 by Benito Bertini and Aldo Alunno Selleri. It starts as a company dealing with the construction, installation and maintenance of industrial plants. During the years Nuova S.TE.I.M. widens up its activity: first it builds a workshop for carpentry works, then it realizes an area for precision machining.

In 1990, thanks to the entrepreneurial attitude of its founders, Nuova S.TE.I.M. acquires a company dealing with the production and the sale of industrial chemical products suitable for car cleaning (ABT CAR).

At the beginning of 2000, the foresight of its founders and the decade-long experience in the engineering field are the boost for a significant investment: the company realizes a completely new and automatic line based on the production of metal containers approved for the transport of solid and liquid dangerous goods, I°- II° and III° group (Approvals issued by the Experimental Institute of National Railways – RFI and then by the DMV of Rome). Today this represents an important percentage in the company turnover and also an interesting opportunity to foreign markets. In the same year Nuova S.TE.I.M. gains the certification of Quality Assurance System according to ISO 9002:1994, then reconfirmed and adapted to the new ISO 9001:2008.

In 2003 Nuova S.TE.I.M. focuses on the field of alternative energies by assembling an experimental concentrated solar plant at the Enea in Casaccia. In the following years it carries out interventions for the replacement of pipes and receptacles, mirrors and handling systems.
